Happy Sunday Everyone!
Wow, what a week it has been. The storm of Irma and Harvey leaving so much devastation and so many left to start their lives over again. When I hear Irma was coming, I began to pray and ask God to hear our prayer. In 2 Chronicles 7:14 (King James Version) says:
If my people who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
Thanking God for hearing our prayers and diverting Irma out to sea. Thank God that Irma's big impact on North Carolina was spared. Again, thank you God for sparing us the devastation of Irma. Last year, North Carolina was devastated by hurricane Matthew and still many places like Princeville, and Lumberton to name a few are still feeling the aftermath of the hurricane. My heart and prayers go out to all those who have been affected by this years storms, fires, and hurricanes. My personal belief is Prayer Does Change things. When people begin to pray and focus on a particular situation and call on the name of Jesus; he will hear. King David wrote in the Book of Psalms many prayers that petition God to hear his prayers and his praises.
In Pslam 143:1( New International Version)
Lord, hear my prayer, listen to my cry for mercy;in your faithfulness and righteousness come to my relief.
Do not bring your servant into judgement, for no one living is righteous before you.
This is beautiful psalm. You can finish reading the verse in your personal time. Just wanted to share that verse with you to encourage you while you are going through the storm or in the storm. Prayer does Changes Things. Consistently Pray and watch Your Prayers Change Things
Thank you to all of you who continue to pray for change.
Be Determined to pray no matter what.
