Jump, Leap Take a Chance

I



This theme seems to surround me every day lately. I am either jumping or leaping to take a chance at something. When was the last time you took a leap of faith to do something? 

I am willing to try a new task even if I don't feel confident at all with the results. Give you an example. I love to be creative, however, my products do not reflect my brilliant mind. So I participated in a fundraising event hosted by Brushes of Paint Ministry this past Saturday at Hodge Chapel Church in Benson, NorthCarolina that benefited needy families. It actually was really a lot of fun for me once I realized that there was someone there to help spruce up my painting. At first, I was like, look at all these very creative people. I looked at what I had painted and it was so elementary that I felt embarrassed to show it to anyone. Then I remembered there were helpers. Thank God for the help of these two beautiful angels. Wow, I was amazed at how a little few extra strokes of the paintbrush could turn my elementary masterpiece into a marvelous piece of artwork; that I am absolutely proud to say I painted.
